what type of windshield did he say
I said that it was a bonded windscreen. The first European bonded windscreen was more than decade later introduced in an Audi.
First generation Riviera is one of GM’s best automotive designs to come out of the Buick division, particularly the 65 ( third and final year of this body style) since it’s the closest to Bill Mitchell’s original design. Happy to say I’m a proud owner of a beautifully restored 1965 Buick Riviera…Riv it up baby ✌🏽
To be honest, I have never been into American cars. But I was amazed how good this Buick was to drive.

@@Carspottger thanks a lot for your translation.
Brilliant. Thankyou. Cheers, John (Australia)
Thank you for your support John.
Thankyou . Great presentation from you. Excellent views of beautiful Rolls Royce and interior along with your great narrative. Cheers, John (Australia)
Thank you very much John.
I would like to have heard this guy open the four barrel. Those Carter AFB four barrels I have quite a powerful sound.
Quit after 2 minutes, the music was annoying.
Vivaldi ist not everyones taste.
That is the very first car I ever owned in that same god-awful color and the first thing I did was paint lotus yellow, that's a dark yellow, but it was a very fun car and a very fabulous first car. Let's see what since , another 1980 triumph spitfire, TR 7, TR 8, dodge colt , Le Car, Honda Civic, 67 Cadillac coupe Deville, Miata 1990, Lotus M 100 Elan, 1964 jaguar XKE convertible Ginetta G 20 and several minivans. I would but a spitfire again, or tr3
That are quite some cars you have owned. I liked driving this Spitfire. I was amazed how so little horsepower can bring so much fun!
Nice looking car but it is a piece of junk. My neighbor had one back in 1982 in San Francisco. It was barely 5 years old and it was already rusting from the bottom up. It had all kinds of issues and I was offered the car for $1000 then.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with this Lancia. This one was not that bad. Probably it has been improved over the years.
Love these videos. He has more cheese than all of France.
Fiat = God's Will Be Done ❤
That is funny way of looking at it 🤣🤣🤣
One of my favorite questions for European car enthusiasts is who are your top 3 or 4 favorite Italian designers of all time? And choose one car that is among your very favorites from each. Mine are Frua (AC 428), Michelotti (Triumph Stag), Gandini (Alfa Romeo Montreal), and Giugiaro (Fiat Dino Coupe)
1 Aldo Brovarone Dino 206 GT 2 Giorgetto Giugiaro De Tomaso Mangusta 3 Pietro Frua Monteverdi High Speed 4 Bruno Sacco Mercedes-Benz C126 (560 SEC)

From 2027 onwards, driving a combustion engine will no longer be permitted outside of work and delivery journeys. The Federal Transport Tourism Emission Restriction Ordinance TEBBVO was also announced....is intended to remove all combustion engines commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery and even inland waterway vessels from the roads/waterways by 2035. Buses in cities (and all taxis) must be completely converted to electric drive by 2026 (EU regulation!)! That will be funny! Have you ever read Berlin leaks? It takes your shoes off! They're basically planning to demobilize under the guise of a campaign against "fun using fossil drive energy" in road traffic... the SOKO Autoposer is supposed to hunt down all fun fossil drivers in the future! This will be a STVO Stasi with BABVVO monitoring apps as a helper for controlling exhaust gas emissions.
I am so glad that I live outside the EU. The idiocy which is going on especially in.a country like Germany at the moment is frightening. Although I am aware of the fact that there is climate change, I do not believe in the least this theory of CO2 causing this change. If you see the climate changes over the last 10,000 years, than you notice that it was way warmer 1000 and 2000 years ago. If you see the amount if CO2 in the air it is only 0.0375% in relation to 89% N2 or 19% O2 it is hardly nothing. Plants and trees need CO2: 6CO2 + 6H2O --》C6H12O6 + 6O2. So more CO2 will let grow trees more quickly. I have nothing against EV's, but I do not see that they are environmental friendly. And I still remain a petrolhead. A big V8 is way more pleasing than driving any EV.
@@DrivingwithGlovesGreens are going completely nuts here! The even forbid using private garages for non registered vintage cars! They send inspectors around searching private porperties and garages for unregistered combustion vehicles and vintage cars.
@@Schlipperschlopper absolutely rediculous what is going on in the world in the last years.
Strasse von Intschi nach Amsteg. "Intschifluh" genannt.
Thank you for the video. Good job. I would have appreciate more feedback about the driving. Pros & cons.
The handling of the car was excellent. The engine sound was okay, but not overwhelming. It has not loads of power, but on small roads it is a fun car to drive. I had at one point a problem with the gear linkage. That is why I could not really drive the car anymore as I should. Because I still had to drive back to the garage where I borought the car from. But I am happy that you liked the video.
I scanned the qr on your car in bedigliora
Hahaha you are the first I believe 😉 I hope you like my car reviews?
Nice driving looking a beautiful Lady 😊
music to loud, talking to quiet
After 6 years I watched the video again. The talking is good understandable and the music not particular loud. Could it be your device? And what do you expect, that I take it out of RUclips and remaster it after 6 years?
Great video. It was my first car and I loved it. Unfortunantely, this one in your video got that ugly 80th sunroof, what is not original. Good luck with your channel. Kind regards from Germany, Ralph
Thank you very much for your throughout positive feedback. I had the impression that the sunroof was original though. But pergaps I am wrong.
@@DrivingwithGloves yes, you are wrong. The Manta A was only available with a steel sunroof and not that glas-aftermarket thing. 🙂
Duly noted, I will give this a try.... 😊
😉🤣
Absolutely on point! 😂
😉
Nicht perfekt aber sehr gut. Bravo
Danke!
The first time I drove it I was amazed by the driving qualities and comfort: the car was soft on rough roads but glued to the ground, which gave excellent sensations of safety. When accelerating when cornering you could exactly feel the push between the seats
I totally agree with you. Only the brakes are poor.
Perfect accent! Incredible!
Thank you very much. It was actually just for fun.
Where's the almost crash?
If you look at the whole episode, you will see a Pagani and a Lamborghini coming in the opposite direction. The Pagani did not keep to its lane and crashed almost into me. It goes that quickly that you can't realky see it. But you see how he does not keep to its lane again in the following corner.
Only a great driver can drive this car like this! This car is called the widow's car! Great guide!
Thanks a lot for your compliment!
Funny dude, it's safe because I said so. Because it's requipted with Rotax and lit almost like parashute))🤭🤭🤭
Good night my friend, and a merry Christmas to you and your family!! Here is the Marco Gama of Seven Lagoons Minas Gerais, Brazil.

@@DrivingwithGloves Thank you, great as always!
Not a real Ascona 400😉
You are right. But the owner pretended to have a real Ascona 400. So I was prepared to film this video. Would you have cancelled to make the video? It was a fun drive after all in winterly conditions.
😂 so geil! Weiter so Gruß aus Ebikon
Danke!
Can’t see the shifter…
A short scene from a longer Video about Volkswagen Brazil. RUclips happens to make the screen narrower for Shorts 😉
Bet youve got buttons on the front of your underpants too.
Not only very amusing, but also packed with so much information, combined with a spectacular scenary.
Unfortunately I did not bring my normal filming gear with me to Brazil, otherwise I could have given even more impressions about the scenery.
Mamma mia che puntata spettacolare 👏👏👏
Grazie mille!
What an nice adventure 🙌 Thanks for the video 🙏
It was really a wonderful adventure. I am glad that I made that experience.
Mahalo for this story about...a parallel world...that is Brazil. The story of the creation of Volkswagen do Brasil is fascinating! What beautiful and generous people, too! I really believe Volkswagen do Brasil missed a trick by not building that lovely SP2 for the world market. It was as pretty as the VW-Porsche 914. Maybe Audi could have used it in their lineup or the SP2 could have carried on the legacy of the Karmann Ghia. It was lovely to see what driving through Brazil in like. Aloha from your subscribers here in Hawai'i!
Thank you very much for your reply. I totally agree with you about the missed chance of VW with the SP2. Personally I have never been a fan of the 914.
@@DrivingwithGloves I do appear to be one of the few who fell in love with the 914. It was so low to the ground (no trouble for 11-year-old me😆🤣), and it had a mid-mounted engine...like a Lamborghini Miura (😆🤣). The 914 really caught my attention for Porsche. As a child, I never noticed Porsche until the 914 was introduced. Oh...and I like 928, too. That means I'm not a Porsche guy,🤣! I DID get to drive a 924 between Trier and Koblenz one time; I still remember the experience fondly 37 years later.
@jimcabezola3051 since I grew up in the Netherlands, I always loved to see the Dutch police driving Porsche 911 Targa. So that was for me the car to have as a child. I bought finally one when I was 25. So I used to be a Porsche guy 😉
@@DrivingwithGloves As a boy, I saw the toy version of those Porsches with "Polizei" on them! When I moved to Germany in my youth, I thought I would see the real thing, 🤣🤣!
@@jimcabezola3051 but in the Netherlands they were everywhere 😁
I love the Opel Manta A. I had a yellow ‘74.
Yes, it is a wonderful car!
This is car, beautiful, today cars are just tablets on wheels
I am glad that you like it, because it was a revolutionary car in its time.
Well done 😊. But Cobra is definetly a car designed for drivers not so tall like you 😂😂😂
Unfortunately I have to agree with you. But nonetheless a one of a kind experience for me.
911 is the online sportcar you fit in. Do you still have yours?
@@franksroadtrips1821 No Frank I have sold mine in 2012. But this Cobra is way better than a 911!
2:22 Min. Love your number plate, SIMON :-)!
I must confess that it was only glued on for that scene. The owner is called Simon.
I still remember a review from back in the day. The writer expressed surprise at how gorgeous the front and midsection looked, comparing it to that of the Ferraris of the era, but "they lost their nerve when they got to the rear section, and reverted to trite and true German Opel design cues."
That is a nice story.
😍 👍
Thanks a lot!
